01 Dec Photonix Japan Conference
Chromacity continues to build upon the traction from their ultrafast lasers in the Asia Pac region with channel partner representation at Photonix Japan this week.
The Photonix Japan conference which is divided into core themes covering laser processing, optical components and analysis will take place between 2 – 4th December at the Makuhari Messe in Tokyo.
Sun Instruments, a leading distributor of high-tech optical products, will exhibit at the conference (stand number 2-16) and showcase Chromacity’s 1040 nm fixed wavelength laser source.
The Chromacity 1040 is a compact and affordable femtosecond laser which is ideal for coupling into microscope systems to produce clear and high-resolution images, as a result of its excellent beam quality, ultrafast pulses and high average power levels.
Chromacity has a longstanding channel partner relationship with Sun Instruments who have supported the expansion of their ultrashort pulse lasers in the Asia Pac region through in-territory business development initiatives like Photonix Japan.
Traditionally, Photonix Japan attracts over 50,000 delegates from across the globe. Whereas the impact of COVID-19 continues to affect exhibitions in Europe, the conference in Tokyo is a positive indication that more events in the Asia Pac region are reverting back to face-to-face networking opportunities from virtual formats.
Last month, Chromacity’s ultrafast lasers were represented at the 17th Optoelectronic Exposition & Forum in Wuhan, on behalf of the French Photonics cluster Alpha-RLH.
Having recently sold their first picosecond OPO system in China, the Asia Pac region remains strategically important for Chromacity’s growth plans.
