Japan Photonics Council – Virtual Meeting

Japan Photonics Council Online Forum
March 26th 15:00-17:00 (JST)

Chromacity is honoured to present as a guest speaker during an online meeting hosted by the Japanese Photonics Council this week.

Dr. Christopher G Leburn will demonstrate the capabilities of ultrafast lasers to enhance microscopy, spectroscopy and quantum applications and share key findings from the 2020 Photonics in Scotland report.

The Japan Photonics Council is a non-profit association that brings together key decision-makers to develop strategies and new technologies which continue to position Japan as one of the global leaders in optics and electronics.

Regular online events hosted by the JPC provide an open forum for industry and academic institutes to collaborate on new initiatives and photonics-related research.

Japan is a key territory for Chromacity and the business development team is looking forward to networking with Council members, as part of a wider strategy to become more active in the country.

Chromacity has an established channel partner network in Japan and continues to work closely with Sun Instruments, based in Tokyo, to participate in local photonics conferences.

Earlier this year, Chromacity was also selected by the Department for International Trade (DIT) to join an online SMART Manufacturing tradeshow, for Japanese companies.
